Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an Online class and a Venue class?
There are two types of sessions.
1) Online classes. These classes are live and streamed from my home to yours via Zoom. A link to the Zoom class will be emailed to you on receipt of booking and payment being received.
2) Venue classes. As we slowly return to in person classes there will be a restriction on spaces available per class. Once you have booked and paid for your class you will receive an email notification and I will email you a covid-secure health questionnaire. It is vital that you complete this form and return via email before you attend any classes.
(You will only need to fill in this form the first time you book a class with me; it will then be stored according to GDPR regulations).
Can I cancel a class session?
Yes of course! All refunds and credits for venue classes are subject to a 24 hour notice period. I must receive notification 24 hours before the class session is due to start. As there will be a waiting list for class places, this will allow me time to fill your place.
I am happy to provide either a refund (subject to a 50p admin fee) or provide a full credit for a further like for like session. The cancellation policy is available to view during the booking process and stated in your email booking confirmation.
What payment provider is used?
We use Wix Payment as our primary payment provider and we are fully SCA compliant. They are a international payment provider and are used by a number of household names. WiX accept payments from all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, Diners, CUP, JCB and Maestro. If you wan to know more, read Terms and Conditions payments services.
What precautions are in place at the venues?
ONLINE BOOKING & PAYMENTS
All classes are now subject to advance booking and payment online. Places in each class will be capped to allow for social distancing and adequate ventilation requirements.
From Monday 17th May, following DCMS (Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport) in England, exercise classes can resume. To allow for adequate ventilation, the whole building must provide at least 100 sq ft of floor area per person and the room in which the exercise takes place, 2m social distancing must be maintained between participants.
When arriving at class, please can I encourage you to remain socially distanced from each other if needing to queue outside the hall before class begins. Please only enter the hall 5 minutes before, remaining 2m apart, or stay in your car, until you are prompted to enter the venue.
CLASS DO'S & DON'TS
Although you DO NOT need to wear it for exercising, please ensure you wear a face-covering to and from class whilst indoors i.e in foyers, and until you are stood in your exercise place.
Please bring your own filled water bottle (there is no access to the kitchen in either venue). Please limit belongings to your face mask, water bottle and car keys as there will be nowhere to put anything else. Upon entering the venue, please use the hand sanitiser provided, and again when leaving the venue.
For now, until full restrictions are lifted, there will be no toilet facilities or changing rooms available.
There is excellent mechanical air ventilation in place at Farrington Gurney Village Hall. Natural ventilation will be provided at Temple Cloud where all windows or doors will remain open at all times.
Your health and well-being are my top priorities so please help me by adhering to all the rules. Ensure the PAR-Q is completed and returned before you attend any class for the first time. If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19 you must NOT attend class.
It is vital that you read all information that is provided via email when making your booking online, including track and trace, self-assessment COVID-19 checks, when not to attend class, and cancellation policies.
